About Tesla Superchargers
Fastest and most convenient network of chargers
Superchargers deliver energy rapidly, and gradually slow down as the battery fills.
Your Tesla automatically alerts you when it has enough energy to continue the trip and with the extensive network of Superchargers along popular routes, charging above 80% isn’t typically necessary.
How to use Tesla Supercharger stations
1. Enter your destination on your touchscreen and you will be automatically routed through convenient Superchargers along the way.
2. Arrive at the station and find an available charger.
3. Simply plug in your car and it will start charging! No RFID card or member account needed.
4. When you're charged up, unplug your car and continue your journey.
Do I need to pay for Tesla Superchargers?
No. The price of charging is included in your subscription as long as you are driving an Onto Tesla.
Although you will not pay for the electricity and using the charger, please be aware of any time restrictions or parking restrictions you might encounter at the charging station. If you get any fines or penalties for not following their instructions, Onto will not cover them.
Who do I call if I encounter a problem when I'm charging?
Get 24/7 support by calling Tesla customer service on 0800 756 9960.
How quick is it to use a Tesla charger?
All Tesla Superchargers are rapid chargers. They range from 72kW to 150kW. This means you will be able to charge your Tesla up to 80% in under 30 minutes.
Why didn't I get a Tesla RFID card?
Tesla does not provide RFID cards to charge at their Supercharger stations. To charge your Tesla, simply plug it into the charging station and it will automatically recognise your car and start charging. Yep, it's that simple!
